Scholarships

Tiffany is a single mother to two children who works two jobs while attending the Nursing program and Bryant & Stratton College - Richmond Campus. Her goal is to become Nurse Practitioner, own her own practice and specialize in medical dermatology.  Obviously, she has no fear when it comes to setting goals and reaching them.

During her time a Bryant & Stratton, Tiffany often thought about the debt she was accrueing but, decided that her degree and the example she was setting for your children, was much more valuable!  She goes on to say that this scholarship award came at the best time because she had expendent all of her PELL grant awards and didn't know how she would complete her last semester.

Tiffany's desire is to give back to the community.  That is her motivation.  "I have so much to offer the world but, I felt limited because I didn't have the education and skills I needed to make an impact."  Tiffany has never looked back. She juggles and delays gratification in order to make her dreams come true.

As an organization that supports the education of single parents, we were so glad to know that Bryant & Stratton will match our donation and Tiffany will have enough funding to cover the cost for her last semester before graduating!  A special thank you goes out to the administrators and the staff at the college.  Not only do they recognize the importance of education, they support their students by offering flexible scheduling, support and child care.
